Moved by the many tragedies afflicting humanity at the moment, I came across this closing remark from a message of the Universal House of Justice, the governing body of the Baha’is of the world, which I found extremely poetic and so appropriate to what the world seems to be going through, even though it was written in 1993.
“These are the darkest hours before the break of day. Peace, as promised, will come at night’s end. Press on to meet the dawn.”
Deep sorrow and pain prevail when we look at what so many are going through, yet it must serve to galvanize the efforts that must continue to emerge, with added strength and unyielding faith, which will eventually transform our world, our communities, our reality. We must ‘press on’.
